Communications, Literature of the Supernatural, Fantasy Literature Professor Nason has taught communications courses and helped found the Communications/Public Relations specialization. Her scholarly interests include the literature of the fantastic, especially J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings, and she has taught courses in fantasy, science fiction, and the supernatural. She is a Board Member of (and sings alto in) the Buffalo Choral Arts Society and spends her free time singing in and choreographing Gilbert and Sullivan operettas, most recently Iolanthe.
