Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design
The BFA in Graphic Design is a professionally oriented program that features a broad concentration of courses in the major with supporting studio courses in other fine art areas. Students learn the fundamentals of organizing text and images while studying typography, publication design, package design advertising and multi-media graphic presentations. In short, students are introduced to the design that shapes the world. The sequence of study is capped by a semester-long Senior Project, with each student responsible for the design and execution of a major professional-level project. After graduation work beckons in the design and advertising departments of large corporations, in advertising agencies, the publishing industry, exhibit design for corporations and museums, television graphics, all places where Daemen College Graphic Design graduates have found a home.

The Faculty of Graphic Design have practices professionally in a wide range of contexts, from typography foundries to on-line publications. In addition to the development of curriculum and teaching classes, each of these faculty members produces work for a professional sector, while also maintaining a personal artistic body of work.
