Dennis W. Barraclough

Professor of Sculpture, Gallery Director, Director of Fine Arts

Dennis Barraclough graduated from the University of Buffalo with a B.F.A. in Printmaking in 1970, and an M.F.A in Sculpture from the University of Michigan in 1972. He has served as a faculty member in the Art Department at Daemen College since 1972. Professor Barraclough's instruction includes courses such as Foundation Design and Sculpture. He currently serves as Gallery Director and the Director of Fine Arts for the V.P.A.

Professor Barraclough has exhibited throughout the United States, Europe and China. His work can be found in numerous public and private collections internationally. Barraclough's exhibits include one-man exhibitions at the Members Gallery at the Albright- Knox Art Gallery, Buffalo, New York; Gallery Danielli, Toronto, Ontario; Niagara County Community College, and other public and private institutions.

Barraclough's current work is a combination of monotypes, collage and acrylic on paper which was recently exhibited at the Grace Meibohm Gallery, East Aurora, New York.
