Assistant Professor Painting and Drawing

Felice Koenig teaches drawing and painting in the Department of Visual and Performing Arts at Daemen College.  Professor Koenig studied painting at Southern Oregon University in Ashland where she received her Bachelors of Fine Arts in 1999. She continued her education and was awarded her Masters of Fine Arts in 2003 from the University of Texas at San Antonio.

Koenig's commitment and enthusiasm to art is infectious and demanding as is evidenced in both her exhibitions and her experience. Professor Koenig is a practicing artist and has exhibited widely with both a national and international exhibition record including shows in Munich, Germany, Guangzhou, China, New York, Chicago, San Antonio, and Portland, as well as many smaller cities.  Her work has most recently been acquired for the permanent collection of the Albright Knox Art Gallery.  See her full resume and a selection of her work at http://felicekoenig.com/ .
