The department designed and used new rubrics for the 2009-10 academic year. The rubrics were designed to clarify expectations for performance at different levels, and to increase expectations for proficiency in oral presentation

Senior Capstone Research and Presentation Results
Attached are average results of Business Administration seniors grades on their final capstone research papers and oral presentations. The 2008-09 capstone project evaluation was conducted using old rubrics. The 2009-10 evaluation was based on the new rubrics adopted in 2009-10.

Student Personal Growth Assessment Results
Students complete a personal growth assessment in their e-portfolios when they apply for Upper Division during their sophomore year. They also complete this same assessment during their senior year. This assessment includes both IACBE goals and department learning objectives. The attached table demonstrates the average increase in self-assessment scores between sophomore and senior students.
