Accepted Students

Congratulations on your acceptance to Daemen College! We look forward to welcoming our new students to campus.

Students intending to enroll in the Fall 2015 semester will be able to file a FAFSA after January 1, 2015 and packages will begin to be mailed on March 1, 2015.

After accepted students receive their financial aid packages Financial Aid Administration will provide further instructions about how to accept the aid package before the beginning of their start term.

NEXT STEPS TO TAKE

1) Submit your FAFSA form

Make sure you and your parents complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) to be considered for need-based financial aid from Daemen College. In order for Daemen College to receive your information, you must provide our school code: 002808.

2) Send in your tuition deposit

To officially enroll, you must submit your deposit. You can pay the deposit online.

Or, you can mail in your deposit to:

Daemen College
Office of Admissions
4380 Main Street
Amherst, NY 14226

PLEASE NOTE: Tuition deposit is regarded as the student’s commitment to the College and is required in order to guarantee a seat in the entering class. The tuition deposit is non-refundable.

3) Send in your room deposit

Send in your room deposit if you desire campus housing.

A refund of the room deposit will be made if a written notice of withdrawal from residence is received by the Admissions Office by May 1. A full refund also will be made to those students not permitted to register for the fall term. Students who are not sure if they are academically qualified to continue should make this deposit; if they are not eligible to continue, a full refund will be made.

4) Complete Student Health Form

Upon acceptance to the College, the student will be sent a Student Health Form. Each new student is required to have a physical examination conducted within the past year.

When completed, mail directly to:

Health and Insurance Services Office - M.B. #104
Daemen College
Office of Admissions

5) Join DCsocial

DCsocial is Daemen's accepted students social network. DCsocial is a great place to meet fellow accepted students and make new friends prior to orientation.

6) Freshman Orientation

We plan two summer orientation programs which include social activities and exposure to your academic program. You will have the opportunity to receive your fall course schedule, meet with a faculty advisor, academic support services personnel and student affairs staff.

7) Transfer Orientation: August 6

We plan a summer orientation program which will offer you exposure to current students, academic support services personnel and the student affairs staff.
