Scholarships & Grants

We value your talents and work hard to reward students for outstanding academic performance, civic engagement, and other hard-earned accomplishments through a variety of scholarship opportunities. To apply, all you need to do is submit your application for admission! Once you are accepted you will automatically be considered for all scholarships based on eligibility.

Trustee's Scholarship

This prestigious scholarship is awarded to select freshmen of the highest caliber. (In order to apply. You must first be nominated. Students must attend Scholars Day to be eligible.)
Amount of award: Full Tuition Scholarship

Number awarded: 4 
Amount of award: $13,000 - $14,000

TRANSFER Trustee's Scholarship (by nomination)
This prestigious scholarship is awarded to select transfers of the highest caliber. (In order to apply. You must first be nominated. Students must attend TRANSFER Scholars Day to be eligible.)
Amount of award: $9000 - $12,000
Number awarded: 6                                                                                                                                           Specification: Renewable upon maintaining 3.0 QPA and full time undergraduate status.

President's Scholarship

This prestigious scholarship is awarded annually to freshmen or transfers of proven academic ability.
Amount of award (Freshmen): $9,500 - $12,500
Amount of award (Transfers): $7,000-$8,000
Specification: Renewable upon maintaining a 3.0 QPA
and full time undergraduate status

Dean's Scholarship

The Dean's Scholarship is awarded annually to freshmen or transfers of proven academic ability.
Amount of award (Freshmen): $8,500 - $9,500
Amount of award (Transfers): $5,500
Specification: Renewable upon maintaining a 3.0 QPA and full time undergraduate status

Alumni Grant

 The Alumni Grant is awarded annually to freshmen or transfers of proven academic ability.
Amount of award (Freshmen): $5,500 - $8,000
Amount of award (Transfers): $3,000 - $4,000
Specification: Renewable upon maintaining a 2.0 QPA and fulltime undergraduate status

Athletic Scholarship

Full time freshmen and transfers accepted for admission with recommendation of the appropriate coach.
Amount of award: varies
Specification: Maintain player eligibility

Visual Arts Scholarship

This award is given to freshmen art students whose portfolio reflects outstanding talent as determined by a portfolio review by the Art Faculty.
Amount of Award: $5,000
Scholarships Available: 2
Specification: Renewable upon maintaining departmental standards


Please be aware that the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) needs to be filed starting January 1 in order for you to be considered for any of Daemen's scholarships. Please remember to include Daemen's code (002808) so we receive your FAFSA information electronically from the government.

Daemen Athletics

Daemen College is currently transitioning to NCAA Division II and is completing a planned three-year process to become compliant with all NCAA rules and regulations.  If all goes as scheduled, Daemen will be a full NCAA Division II member by the 2015-16 academic year.  As part of the transition, Daemen was invited and has joined the competitive East Coast Conference which boasts 11 members competing at the NCAA Division II level.
