Congratulations on your acceptance to Daemen College!

Below are the steps you need to complete prior to your arrival to Daemen:


1) Send in your tuition deposit

To officially enroll, you must submit your deposit. You can pay the deposit online.

Or, you can mail in your deposit to:

PLEASE NOTE: Tuition deposit is regarded as the student’s commitment to the College and is required in order to guarantee a seat in the entering class. The tuition deposit is non-refundable.

2) Complete Student Health Form

Upon acceptance to the College, the student will be sent a Student Health Form. Each new student is required to have a physical examination conducted within the past year.

When completed, mail directly to:

Records have to be in English.
A test for tuberculosis is required for all international students.

3) Immigration

**Please follow the instructions on:  The Study in the States website gives step-by-step instructions on how to pay the I-901 fee, complete the DS-160, how to make a visa appointment, and what to bring to the appointment.


a. Read the How to Get your Form I-20 Instructions carefully.
b. Complete the Application for a Form I-20.
c. Please refer to Annual Costs for International Students for Form I-20 for the breakdown of financial costs for the Form I-20.
d. If you are using a sponsor, other than yourself for part of proof of finances, please complete the Sponsor’s Financial Support.
e. If you have family or friends that will be providing you with living arrangements in the Western New York area, please complete the Sponsor’s Financial Support for Room and Board.
f. If you are a transfer student, please complete the International Student Transfer Form and have your previous school’s DSO complete and email to: or fax to: 1-716-566-7838.

Please inform Daemen International Admissions of the date of your visa interview.  Once you have had your interview, please update Daemen International Admissions with the result.

Deferring your Application – If you were denied a visa or were unable to get a visa appointment prior to the start of classes, you can defer your Daemen application to the next semester.  You will need to receive a new Form I-20 with a new start date and you will need to new submit financial documentation.  Please contact International Admissions for further details.
