English Requirements and IELP

English Proficiency:

International students for whom English is a non-native language must submit a TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) or IELTS (International English Language Testing System).  Students who receive a score lower than the minimum requirement will be required to enroll in an Intensive English Language Program (IELP).

Conditional Admission:

Daemen College does offer conditional admission to students who meet our academic standards but received a TOEFL or IELTS lower than our minimum requirement.  Our Intensive English Language Program is designed to help students improve their English and prepare students for academic course work at Daemen College or another university.

Intensive English Language Program (IELP) at Daemen will begin the spring semester of January 2014. The IEP program will offer language classes for multiple levels.  We are now accepting applications for the spring 2014 school year.  Apply now to our IEP
