What Parents Need to Know
Hello Parents and Families:
Welcome to our perspective Parent and Families Webpage. We are excited that you selected to learn more about Daemen College. We hope that you will take the opportunity to find out more about our Academic Rigor, Life at Daemen, Scholarships, Financial Aid, and Admissions Process
I would like to take this time to let you know that the division of Enrollment Management is conscious of the concerns of parents regarding the cost of higher education. We would like to provide for you some information on how Daemen continues to make a college education affordable.
- In the last 10 years we have kept tuition increases under 4%
- We continue to award competitive Academic and Athletic Scholarships
- We have increased the amount of Trustee Scholarships from 6 to 12
- Daemen has added a Transfer Scholar’s Day, offering additional scholarships for Transfer students
We are constantly working to increase student and parent satisfaction. To assist in this goal, we hope to provide you with all the key Faculty, Staff, and Administrators that will help you through the process and into Daemen College.

The Admissions Checklist
Visit
Schedule an On-Campus Interview with your admissions counselor and plan to attend one of our many admission events.
Apply
The first step is to apply for admission to Daemen College! You can apply online now for free.
Deposit
It is important to deposit early (by May 1st) to ensure a seat in the Fall 2013 incoming class.
Enroll
After making your tuition and/or housing deposit, you are ready to become an official Daemen college student! You will begin the registration process at Daemen’s Freshman Orientation.
Daemen Scholarships
FAFSA
Complete your FAFSA in January 2013. The FAFSA is your ticket to all the financial assistance for which you are eligible. You can submit your FAFSA on the web, www.fafsa.ed.gov. Be sure to enter our full name and school code “Daemen College 002808” in the college release and certification section. The code for Daemen College is 002808.
