1: Why did I choose Daemen?

I chose Daemen because I was looking for a school that was far away from home, but also comfortable enough that I can make it a home. Daemen is a small campus and its easy to get involved and get to know the Daemen community. I think these are important qualities in a campus. It makes me feel welcomed and safe. It also has a great Childhood/Special Education program that I found unique compared to the other colleges I applied to.

2: What advice would I give to prospective students?

Don't let college intimidate you. Come to college with an open mind, try new things, and to meet new people. It's a new beginning to be the person you want to be. Also, get involved. College is what you make of it. Opportunities don't just come to you, you have to find them.

3: Favorite food:

French Fries

In Daemen, I took ESL classes to improve my English. I worked at Canavan Desk and made a lot of friends over there. I participated in a Business dinner with my professors. I was invited to join a family party by my professors. During the weekends, I often take the school shuttle to the shopping mall. These experiences helped me to ease into the American-style of study, life, and business.
