1. Why did you choose Daemen?

I chose to attend Daemen because of its great location that provided a safe, energetic atmosphere for me to pursue my studies. Additionally, I loved the small class sizes, which encourage participation and open communication between the students and professors.

2. What is unique about your major?

I am a dual major in Business Administration and Health Care Studies and currently specialize in Human Resource Management and Community Health Administration. My program is unique because each semester I juggle a variety of classes ranging from anatomy to accounting. I enjoy the complexity of my studies, which gives me the opportunity to continuously challenge myself.

3. Where do you see yourself after Daemen?

My long-term career goal is to be a health administrator. To prepare for this role, I am eager to begin working in a health care setting educating target audiences about health prevention and promotion. From there, I look forward to managerial opportunities that will allow me to grow within the field.

4. Who inspires you the most?

My parents are the most inspirational people in my life. I am lucky to always have their support and I know that I can count on them no matter what!

In Daemen, I took ESL classes to improve my English. I worked at Canavan Desk and made a lot of friends over there. I participated in a Business dinner with my professors. I was invited to join a family party by my professors. During the weekends, I often take the school shuttle to the shopping mall. These experiences helped me to ease into the American-style of study, life, and business.
