1: What attracted you to Daemen?

I was, and still am, attracted to Daemen because of it's unbeatable reputation and it's intense PT program. I was really looking for a 3 & 3 program with smaller classes and a focused, structured, doctorate program. I am still attracted to Daemen for its knowledgeable staff and it's impressive Research and Information Commons, where I spend a ton of my time!

2: What excites you about the Telecounselor position?

I am excited about the Telecounselor position because, during my application process, having someone call and check in with me and tell me about the school really made me feel like a potential member of a community, and less like a number. This is something that I would like to be able to do for new, incoming students!

3: Favorite sport:

My favorite sport is tennis! I began playing at age 4 and since then it has been a way to stay close to my grandparents and has also helped me create friends all over the world. I lived in Vienna, Austria for a year on a Rotary Exchange and I was able to play at the local tennis club with other students my age, as well as compete in larger, more competitive tournaments. Sports are an excellent way to meet people, have fun, and stay in shape!

In Daemen, I took ESL classes to improve my English. I worked at Canavan Desk and made a lot of friends over there. I participated in a Business dinner with my professors. I was invited to join a family party by my professors. During the weekends, I often take the school shuttle to the shopping mall. These experiences helped me to ease into the American-style of study, life, and business.
