Transfer Scholarships

Earn Up To $12,000 in Academic Scholarships

Merit Based Scholarship

Transfer students are eligible for Merit Based Academic Scholarships ranging from $3,000 to $12,000. Scholarships are awarded to transfer students based on academic achievement.  These scholarships are renewed annually based on academic performance.

Trustee Transfer Scholars

Trustees Scholars are nominated on the basis of academic and non-academic achievement.  Considerations of both intellect and character are given. Scholarships are award to individuals who will "make a difference" not just in their careers and community, but in the Daemen community as well.

Overall, we are seeking candidates who combine the following qualities:

  • Academic achievement
  • Vision-for self and society
  • Enthusiasm, inspiration - the ability to bring visions and dreams to life
  • Academic and personal discipline which motivaties him/her to persist
  • Leadership ability

There are six renewable scholarships each year:

$12,000 (two recipients)

$10,000 (four recipients)

Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship

There are 10 $1,000 renewable scholarships each year awarded to transfer Phi Theta Kappa students.

David was an international student from Caracas, Venezuela. He majored in International Business and had an internship at Liberty Pumps, which actually turned into a job.  David has applied his knowledge and skills at national and international trips with the company.  “The internship is the main reason I got the job,” David states. “I had an opportunity to get to know the company and become familiar with what they do. I am very glad I was afforded the chance to join this company through the internship.”
