Making an Impact

In 2003, the world learned of Egyptian twin boys conjoined at birth at the head two years earlier. After more than 33 hours of surgery in Dallas, doctors were able to separate the boys. Following surgery, the twins faced a long road to recovery. It was at this point that Kristen DeMura ’00 came into their lives.
