Reunion Giving
Every year Rosary Hill / Daemen College alumni have the opportunity to celebrate the anniversary of their graduation with a special gift to the Daemen College Annual Fund. Other reuniting groups such as Fraternities, Sororities and Alumni from various academic programs approach the College interested in making a gift. While planning your reunion with the College, you will discover the endless options available to you to make your reunion gift as unique and special as your graduating class or affinity group.
Here are a few popular ideas that classes or affinity groups have done to support the College.
Class Year Appeal
By incorporating their graduation year into the appeal, this plan allowed a relatively small class to make quite a substantial gift to the college.
For example: The class of 1959 could committed to contributing $59 this year and pledging $59 for next year. The class consisted of nearly 40 reuniting members so that two year pledge helped secure nearly $5,000 for student scholarships.
Founders Walkway:
Many affinity groups enjoy raising funds to honor or memorialize a special event, person or group. The Founders Walkway, located on the landscaped lawn of Rosary Hall, allows your group to purchase a brick, have it inscribed with special sentiments and place it permanently on Daemen’s Campus.
Funding a Special Project
Sometimes a reuniting group would like to help fund the purchase of a specific item the College is in need of as identified by the College. An example of this initiative would be the generous class of 1952 and the new Daemen College sign displayed at the Main Street entrance to the College.
