Our eBooks are currently housed in three locations, EBL, the eBrary and the EBSCO eBooks Collection. Please search either database to retrieve eBooks by choosing one of the links below:
eBrary: The Daemen College library has access to Academic Complete, a growing e-book collection spanning all academic subject areas. Note: You can read books through eBrary, however, they cannot be saved to the bookshelf due to a firewall issue. Daemen IT is aware and hoping to resolve the firewall issue in time. At this time, do not attempt to save ebooks to the eBrary bookshelf.
EBSCO eBooks Collection: eBooks collection allows you to use many of the EBSCO features, including saving eBooks to your permanent MyEBSCO folder.
EBL: EBL, or the E-Book Library, is another collection of electronic books. Similar to eBrary, you can download books or read them online. Adobe Reader is necessary for reading online and Adobe Digital Editions allows you to download and read the books offline. Adobe Digital Editions will also allow you to transfer the books to a mobile device, though Kindles are not currently supported. Just as with the other eBook libraries, you can create a free account to save books to a digital book shelf.
