Proposal Development
Whether you have been awarded numerous grants or have never written a proposal, the Academic Grants & Sponsored Program Services Office will work with you to assist with proposal preparation.
The Academic Grants & Sponsored Program Services Office has print copies of what many consider the best guide to proposal preparation: The Grantmanship Center's 48-page guide: Program Planning and Proposal Writing. If you are a Daemen employee and would like your own guide, please contact the Executive Director of the Office of Academic Grants & Sponsored Program Services.

Compensation of Faculty and Administrators on Federal Grants
The publication "Compensation, Effort Commitments and Certification," available for free by the Council on Government Relations, addresses issues related to salary compensation, effort commitments, and certification policies and practices, as well as the federal regulations governing these issues. This is a helpful publication for faculty pursuing federal and state grants.
