The intern will work with the Human Resources/Benefits Coordinator and the CFO at our corporate office in Williamsville, New York. The intern will be required to assist with many HR/Payroll projects. Work on updating a master Employee Handbooks for all business units, with individual inserts as needed. Assist with the planning and coordinating for the company's annual benefits open enrollment rollout period. Work on implementing EEO guidelines and practices at all property levels and updating the payroll system accordingly. Assist with updating the HR section of the company payroll system at all property levels and work with the payroll company to update the system accordingly. Update various corporate policies on the company network. Implement Wage Tax Credit programs for business units in New York, Tennessee and Kentucky. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Internet (in particular, as a method of research) - Excellent writing and organizational skills - Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
