A Social Work Program Accredited by CSWE
Daemen College’s Social Work program is authorized by the Commission of Accreditation of the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE). You’ll get prepared through immersive service learning, internships and real-world experiences as Daemen prepares you to be a professional social worker. Student learning emphasizes critical thinking, understanding of human behavior and diversity, use of research, and advocacy for social and economic justice.
- Complete a two-semester internship (approximately 15 hours per week) during your senior year, which makes you more marketable.
