Moot Court Experience

The PLSA's signature event is the Moot Court Experience, a simulated trial of a criminal or civil law case that is presented at Daemen's Academic Festival in April. The first Moot Court Experience was held in 2002, and since that point Moot Court has been a featured presentation for Academic Festival. Moot Court is open to all majors, and presents students with the opportunity to hone analytical and speaking skills as they develop arguments to present in the case and to have a great time in the process! Students do all the work of developing court statements and preparing and portraying lawyers and witnesses.
