Following is a suggested course sequence for your program; however, HST105-106, and HST220-221 must be completed by the end of Year 2. Courses may be offered as indicated and/or at other times. Consult your Advisor for further direction and planning.

Course Loads

Maximum of 17 credits allowed for all semesters. Additional course loads are allowed for students who achieve Dean's List. Consult the Dean's List section of the Daemen catalogue for details on the Dean's List privilege.

Departmental Offerings

History and Political Science department course offerings have changed course prefix/designation to the following: HP (formerly HG): History and Political Science courses; HST (formerly HIS): History courses; PSC (formerly GVT): Political Science courses.

Liberal Arts and Science Studies

Courses may be taken in the following areas: Anthropology; Art History; Biology; Chemistry; Communication Arts; (English) Composition; Computer Science (limited to: CSC101, CSC201; CSC212); Criminal Justice (limited to PSC117--formerly GVT117); Foreign Languages; Geography; Geology; Literature; Mathematics; Music (limited to history or theory courses); Philosophy; Physics; Psychology; Religion; Sociology; Theatre (limited to: THA106, history or theory courses).

*HST331 and HP442 must be taken concurrently and are only offered in the Spring semester.  They are prerequisites for HP443 and must be successfully completed before taking HP443. HP443 is only offered in the Fall semester.
