Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Daemen College has been approved by New York State Education to offer a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree. The DNP offers the highest level of educational preparation for advanced practice nurses including nurse practitioners, clinical nurse specialists, nurse midwives and nurse anesthetists. Daemen College’s Nursing Department History
The Daemen Nursing Department has been in existence since 1979. It has maintained continuous accreditation since its inception.
The Nursing Department is one of the first liberal arts colleges approved by the New York State Education Department to offer the 1+2+1 Curriculum and the doctorate of nursing practice degree.
