Lisa S. Ball, PhD, RN, FNP-BC. Bachelor of Science in Nursing, University of Western Ontario; Master of Science, Post-Masters Certificate in Nursing Education and Doctorate of Philosophy, University at Buffalo. In addition to teaching nursing at Daemen since 2010, Dr. Ball maintains active practice in primary care, ANCC-certification as a family nurse practitioner, and membership in various nursing organizations including the American Nurses Association, National League for Nursing, Nurse Practitioner Association, and Sigma Theta Tau. Dr. Ball has experience in mixed methods research, emotional intelligence in nursing, and primary care of underserved urban families. Dr. Ball’s professional achievements include various scholarly poster presentations, publications, research endeavors, and funded grants and awards.
