LEADERSHIP, ETHICS AND PROFESSIONALISM
The Daemen College LEAP ACADEMY is for undergraduate students wishing to develop and enhance their leadership ability, ethical discernment and professional attitudes and behavior. These skills are increasingly necessary for career success.
In addition, involvement in this program may enhance a students’ marketability by providing experiences that will distinguish them from other job-seekers.
This bi-level program requires students to participate in workshops, events and organizations. Students will be recognized after completing each program level. In addition to developing new skills, students will have the opportunity to network with other students, faculty, staff and outside professionals.
These activities will be sponsored by the Accounting and Business Administration Departments and other groups on campus.
Students must also complete a personal journal which should include the following questions:
a) What have I learned?
b) How can this apply to me? 
c) Is this a reflection of who I am or who I wish to become?
d) How can this be incorporated into my job search and career?
