Business Clubs and Activities

At Daemen College student learning goes well beyond success in the classroom.

Business Administration students enhance their academic skills by giving back to the community, visiting companies, interacting with professionals and attending on and off campus workshops.

Business ClubThis organization focuses on integrating department activities with local businesses.  Past events have included guest speakers (M&T Bank, New Era, Unifrax, Botanical Garden, …), seminars with successful WNY business leaders and community projects such as Habitat for Humanity.

LEAP Academy: Students participate in a series of leadership training workshops and activities in which ethical values are built, communication skills are emphasized and professionalism is incorporated in a variety of interactive ways.

SHRM Student Chapter: Society for Human Resources Management – The Daemen College Business Administration Deaprtment has its own student chapter in which students participate in SHRM ( http://www.shrm.org) and BNHRA ( http://www.bnhra.org) events. This provides excellent professional training and exposure while connecting students to a  global network of Human Resource professionals.

Sports Management Club: Activities provide students hands-on experience on and off campus with close guidance from well-connected professionals and professors in the sport management field.
