Bridget Niland

Professor Niland is a native of Williamsville and returned to the Buffalo area to coordinate the sport management specialization within the Business Administration department at Daemen College. Prior to joining the Daemen faculty, Niland served in several management positions and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) headquarters in Indianapolis, Indiana. Niland joined the NCAA after working as a trial attorney with United States Department of Justice in Washington, D.C., which followed a two-year federal clerkship with the Honorable John T.Curtin in the Western District of NewYork. Her teaching experience includes serving as an adjunct faculty member in the Ball State University School of Physical Education, Sport and Exercise Science and at the University of Buffalo School of Law. Niland earned her bachelor’s degree at UB and was a scholarship student-athlete on the school’s varsity cross-country and track and field teams. She is a candidate for her PhD in UB’s Graduate School of Education.
