What is the Reynolds Scholar Program?
It is a research based Graduate Assistant Scholars Program which provides after-school academic services for students with learning disabilities in elementary and middle school.

When do the programs take place?
The after-school program for the 2006-2007 school year will take place Mondays through Thursdays from 3:00pm to 5:00pm.  Students from Amherst Central School District will receive tutoring at the Thomas Reynolds Center located at Daemen College.  Students who attend Southside Elementary will be serviced in their school building.  Students attending Futures Academy will be transported to The Rev. Dr. Bennett W. Smith, Sr. Family Life Center.

Thomas Reynolds Center Graduate Assistants, Megan Maisto and Lindsey Kenner met with Erie 1 BOCES students on Wednesday, November 7th, to discuss their roles and responsibilities as Special Education Teachers for The Center After-School Programs. The Erie 1 BOCES New Visions Education Academy, in collaboration with Daemen College, offers honors-level high school students four credits as they explore education as a possible career choice. The New Visions Education Academy classes are held Monday through Friday from 8:00-11:00am at the Thomas Reynolds Center. Students also participate in various off-site internships.
