Our Motto
"Reach out and touch somebody's hand." The important words
are reach out and touch. It is our duty as Special Educators to extend
ourselves to those who require our help and assistance. This not only
means as a teacher to a student but also as a model, counselor, and most
important, as a friend. The word "touch" is magic. It does
not mean that we take our students' hand and lead them everywhere; for
then they will be followers. It does mean that we will be there to guide
them and help them. Whenever our special friends take that first step
by themselves, we let them go knowing that we have reached out and touched
their lives.
