April 26, 2006 The Daemen College Academic Festival brings us together on campus to celebrate the academic and creative achievements of Daemen students. The Festival offers a wide variety of student and faculty work including presentations, poster sessions, multimedia demonstrations, musical or theatrical performances and art exhibits. These demonstrate the original work that students have produced in their courses, internships, senior theses and volunteer projects. The Festival is a way for students to participate with a community of scholars and receive some positive, interactive feedback. A printed Program Book is prepared for each Academic Festival, which includes the daily schedule of programs. Each program includes an abstract or description, a list of presenters and faculty sponsors. We are deeply appreciative of the level of student involvement in the Academic Festival each year. We are also appreciative of faculty support for these endeavors. Faculty sponsors have taught and encouraged students with their proposals. We hope that you will experience the exciting and insightful ideas generated through their scholarship. Planning committee members work very hard during the year to make the Academic Festival a success. We welcome your thoughts and ideas!
