Foreign Language BA
(French & Spanish)

What Makes It Great
• In Daemen’s small classes, you’ll get the one-on-one instruction you need to become fluent in French or Spanish.
• Coursework stresses spoken language skills and cultural familiarity, giving your degree even more value in the market place.

Additional Information
• The Foreign Language curriculum is currently serving students who major/minor in foreign languages, seek adolescent education certification in languages other than English, and major/minor in such disciplines as psychology, the health professions, business, public relations, and social work.
• In addition, the department also offers a variety of applied linguistics courses that will prepare students for graduate work and research.
• The whole campus is served through its general education courses.

Minors and More
• Minors in French, Hispanic Studies, Spanish, International Studies and International Business.
• Individualized study programs.
• Provisional New York State teaching certification.
