Biochemistry

The Biochemistry program offers students preparation for a diverse array of modern employment opportunities. A solid background in biology and chemistry, along with advanced coursework in chemistry, biochemistry and molecular biology will allow graduates to attend graduate school for advanced degrees in chemistry, biochemistry or molecular biology, go to medical, veterinary or dental school or seek employment in the private sector in industries such as biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and chemical engineering.

Our small class sizes facilitate direct interaction with our excellent faculty. This affords students the opportunity to get one-to-one faculty assistance for difficult concepts or tricky laboratory techniques. Our graduates have attended the top graduate and medical schools in the country, and reported to us that they are the most well-prepared students in their graduate classes.
