Environmental Studies

The Environmental Studies emphasis prepares students with a strong science background coupled with a working knowledge of environmental policy and government regulations. This specialization is available with either the B.S. in Biology or the B.S. in Natural Science.

Through independent research with faculty on campus and at the college field site as well as participation in internships with environmental and government agencies, our students are highly prepared for jobs in industry, government and with non-profit organizations.

Our Center for Sustainable Communities and Civic Engagement offers students a unique opportunity to participate with faculty from a consortium of North American colleges in advancing ideas on environmental sustainability.
