* High school chemistry can be substituted for the CHE 101 requirement; however, 3 credits in another liberal arts or science course must be completed to meet requirements.

Qualified undergraduate students may take up to six graduate credits at the undergraduate tuition rate.

 

1-2-1 NURSING PARTNER PROGRAM

 

Program Partners:

This innovative program combines the excellent clinical preparation offered by our community college partners with a traditional four year Daemen College experience. Students complete their first and fourth years of study at Daemen College. The second and third years of study are completed at a student-selected partner school listed below. After completion of year three at the selected partner school, students receive an associate degree in nursing and are eligible to sit for licensure as a registered professional nurse. Students return to classes at Daemen College in their senior year to complete a bachelor’s degree in nursing. The senior level courses are scheduled to allow students to work as RNs while also finishing their degrees.

Admission Requirements:

An advanced Regent’s Diploma (or equivalent), minimum 88% overall high school average, and SAT > 1000 (>500 each section).

Admission to Upper Division:

 

1.         Successful completion of an Associate Degree in Nursing or a Diploma Nursing Program at a National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission accredited and state approved institution.

2.         Official transcripts from all colleges attended on record at Daemen College.

3.         Verification of nursing license or graduate permit to practice as a registered nurse.

4.         Completion of at least 60 credit hours of liberal arts and sciences (includes lower division nursing credits earned through transfer).

5.         Availability of a car for community experiences.
