Nursing Dual Degree Program

Earn both an associate’s and bachelor’s degree in nursing in just 4 years!

How it works:

Year One
• Start full time at Daemen College and begin required science
and liberal arts courses.
Be part of a dynamic campus community!
• Have access to support services and residential learning
communities.

Year Two
• Start full time at your partner school of nursing, taking science and nursing classes while still staying connected to Daemen.
Begin hands-on nursing clinical experience!

Year Three
• Continue science, nursing courses and clinical experiences at your partner school
• Real-world professional clinical experience.
Earn your Associates Degree in Nursing!
• Sit for the national nursing licensing exam.
• Explore employment opportunities.

Year Four
• Complete the BS in nursing curriculum at Daemen.
Work as a registered professional nurse!

About Daemen
Daemen College is a private, comprehensive career oriented liberal arts college in Amherst, New York. Founded in 1947 with a commitment to academic excellence, it is chartered by the Board of Regents of the University of New York and is fully accredited by Middle States Commission on Higher Education. Daemen College is located on a 39-acre campus near Buffalo. The suburban location enables students of the College to have ready access to metropolitan Buffalo, while enjoying the charm of a beautiful suburban campus. Campus Life
Students who are accepted into the dual Degree Program have the opportunity to live in campus housing at Daemen. Modern apartment-style residence halls provide separate housing for male and female students, in addition to our existing five-story residence hall for freshman. Dual Degree students are matriculated at Daemen College all four years, giving them complete access to campus academic, recreational, and social facilities and programs.

Important:
• Students must apply to and be accepted full time at Daemen College.
• Students must choose the partner school upon registration for the program.

I want to learn more about Daemen’s Dual Degree Program
All residence halls have kitchens, laundry facilities, lounges and in-room phone/Internet connections. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served on weekdays in the Wick Student Center, brunch and dinner on Saturdays and Sundays. Daemen offers over 43 student organizations, themed dinners, movie nights, and every other kind of activity imaginable, there’s always something happening on campus.

Financial Aid
Daemen College provides several scholarship opportunities based on student ability. Our students are also eligible for a variety of grants, loans, and on-campus jobs.

Admission Requirements:
• Minimum 1000 SAT or 21 ACT score.
• Advanced Regents diploma or
equivalent (including Math B Exam, minimum of two (2) sciences including biology).
• Minimum high school average of 88%
