Daemen College is a member of The Consortium for Innovative Environments in Learning (CIEL), a collaboration of institutions of higher education from across the nation that share a commitment to exploring institutional, structural, pedagogical, curricular, and co-curricular practices and experiences that can help transform student learning.
The growing network includes Alverno College, Berea College, The Gallatin School of Individualized Study, New York University, Daemen College, The Evergreen State College, Fairhaven College at Western Washington University, Hampshire College, Johnson C. Smith University, Marlboro College, New College of Florida, New Century College and University Life of George Mason University, Pitzer College and Prescott College.
Opportunities to meet and work with students at other CIEL member schools provide powerful learning opportunities. Daemen students have the opportunity to submit their work to Voices and Visions, the CIEL online student journal and at the annual undergraduate research symposium. Daemen students also are able to participate in exchanges at CIEL member campuses or in the study abroad programs offered through the network.
