International students who are interested in applying
for admission to Daemen College must show satisfactory grades and
coursework in their home country and all other schools attended.
Students must also display adequate English Language skills and
verification of sufficient financial support.
Academics
All International Applications must include:
- Complete and official records that prove the student
is a graduate of a secondary school or its equivalent. The records
should show the complete secondary school studies and any work
taken in a college or university. The records must be in the form
of official transcripts and may be originals or copies that are
notarized photostats. The following information should be shown:
- The complete title of each course taken
- The number of weeks and the hours per week that each course
was taken
- The length of each course (for example, September through
December January through May)
- The system of grading used including the highest obtainable
grade and the lowest passing mark
- The student’s rank in class (for example, number 3
from the top in a class of 86)
- Official statement of certificates, diplomas, or degrees
received from institutions attended.
- All international students who have previously
attended a college/university (excluding Canadian colleges/universities)
must have a course by course transcript evaluation done by the
World Education Service.
- A written statement in English telling us about
your past life, education, practical experience, special interests,
reasons for desiring to come to Daemen College. It must also include
your plans for work after returning to your home country. This
statement must be written by you personally without assistance
from others.
Language
All International Applicants must submit official scores from the
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).
- Students are expected to score 500 (173 on Computer
test) or higher on the written test for admission to Daemen College.
- Students who have not taken the test or have received
a score of less than 500/173 are required to spend the summer
enrolled in an Intensive English Language Program offered at another
US college or university.
- Daemen College does not offer an Intensive English
Language Program.

Finances
All International applicants are required to show legal verification
of adequate financial resources. No student will be admitted without
this information.
The financial verification form must be signed by
a bank official.
All applications must include a $25.00 Application
Fee.
