and Transfer Credit Applicability Here
There are several ways for students to earn transfer credits at Daemen College , as follows:
- Freshmen - Daemen College is the first post-secondary institution the student is attending. While in high school/summer(s), the student has either taken college-level course(s) at another college or through a college-sponsored program, or has taken and passed (score 3, 4 or 5) an Advanced Placement exam in one or more areas.
- Transfer student - Student attended another college-level institution after high school completion/GED, but did not earn a degree.
- Credential Transfer - Student attended another college-level institution after high school and earned an associate's or higher degree.
- Dual Admission Agreements - Student is enrolled at a community or junior college and is in a program in which a Memorandum of Agreement/Understanding has been signed between that institution and Daemen College , and which is specifically applicable from their course of study at their institution to certain Daemen programs.
Dual Admitted students receive academic guidance at their community or junior college leading to their anticipated educational continuance in a specific baccalaureate program at Daemen. In addition, such students have access to information and activities from their Daemen department faculty and Daemen administrative offices as "pre-Daemen" students.
