Scholarships & Grants

We value your talents and work hard to reward students for outstanding academic performance, civic engagement, and other hard-earned accomplishments through a variety of scholarship opportunities. To apply, all you need to do is submit your application for admission! Once you are accepted you will automatically be considered for all scholarships based on eligibility.

Trustee's Scholarship

This prestigious scholarship is awarded to select freshmen of the highest caliber. (You must be invited to compete for these scholarships. Visit our Trustee's Scholars website to learn if you are eligible to apply.)

President's Scholarship

This prestigious scholarship is awarded annually to freshmen or transfers of proven academic ability.
Amount of award (Freshmen): $7,000 - $10,000
Amount of award (Transfers): $6,000-$7,000
Specification: Renewable upon maintaining a 3.0 QPA

Dean's Scholarship

The Dean's Scholarship is awarded annually to freshmen or transfers of proven academic ability.
Amount of award (Freshmen): $6,000 - $7,500
Amount of award (Transfers): $4,500
Specification: Renewable upon maintaining a 3.0 QPA

Alumni Grant

 The Alumni Grant is awarded annually to freshmen or transfers of proven academic ability.
Amount of award (Freshmen): $3,000 - $6,000
Amount of award (Transfers): $2,500 - $3,000
Specification: Renewable upon maintaining a 2.0 QPA

Athletic Scholarship

Full time freshmen and transfers accepted for admission with recommendation of the appropriate coach.
Amount of award: varies
Specification: Maintain player eligibility

Visual Arts Scholarship

This award is given to freshmen art students whose portfolio reflects outstanding talent as determined by a portfolio review by the Art Faculty.
Amount of Award: $5,000
Scholarships Available: 2
Specification: Renewable upon maintaining departmental standards


Please be aware that the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) needs to be filed starting January 1 in order for you to be considered for any of Daemen's scholarships. Please remember to include Daemen's code (002808) so we receive your FAFSA information electronically from the government.

Daemen Athletics

The Daemen Wildcats are a member of the NAIA and the highly competitive American Mideast Conference.  The AMC is the largest conference in the country with 16 schools and has had member institutions win several national championships during the last few years.
