One-on-One Experiences
With an average class size of 18 and a student-faculty ratio of 15:1, there’s no falling between the cracks at Daemen College! Our classes are all taught by professors, not teaching assistants, and each of our students receives a personal educational experience that challenges and encourages them to pursue their passions and achieve their academic goals.
Learning Communities
Who wants to spend four years in a variety of Lecture Halls surrounded by a bunch of strangers? We don’t, and our guess is that you don’t either! That’s why Daemen offers our core classes in a Learning Community format. This format allows our students to move through their core curriculum in smaller groups made up of students from a variety of different backgrounds with differing majors and extra-curricular interests. This way our students gain a deeper knowledge and understanding of core subjects and special topics in a setting that’s conducive to real participation and learning.
