Daemen is home to approximately 100 international students from over 50 countries.  The Daemen community is committed to globalizing our campus by offering a cross cultural experience and a core curriculum preparing our students with 21st century skills.  Hiring managers are looking for employees who possess skills such as; critical thinking, creative problem solving, along with effective oral and written communication skills.  

Our Career Service Office surveyed 2011 graduates asking to identify how well Daemen prepared them in basic skills of active listening, reading comprehension and critical thinking.

  • 90.4% responded they were well prepared with critical thinking skills
  • 83.5% responded they were well prepared with active listening skills 
  • 82.1% responded they were well prepared in reading comprehension
