The opportunity I had as a graphic design student at Daemen College enabled me to develop my beliefs and values both as a person and designer. I was able to research and create an initiative based upon my interest of sustainability among college students. I then presented my ideas at two sustainability conferences in Washington and North Carolina. There, I received positive feedback from numerous students, professors and professionals. My experience as a student at Daemen allowed me to understand that we can make a difference in any road we choose to travel. I'm working toward a career where I can utilize my creativity, design skills and interest in making the world a better place.

Chelsea Foss had two important criteria to narrow down her college search. The school had to be in the Northeastern United States, and it had to have a physical therapy program. The Holden, Maine native aspired to become a practicing physical therapist with a specialization in pediatric care, and she chose Daemen College to help her reach her professional goals.
