Sports Management
Daemen's Sports Management program offers students the opportunity to earn a degree working with sports teams, which has been a dream of Kevin's. With several professional sports teams in the Western New York area, Daemen students have the unique ability to learn about the fundamentals of sports management and see it first hand.
Why did you choose you Daemen?
I chose Daemen because I loved the small-school environment and I liked the new Sports Management program.
Why did you choose your major?
I am a sports (football) addict and I wanted to connect my passion with business, so I picked Sports Management.
Describe your academic experience at Daemen.
It has been a great experience and I think Daemen provides teachers which are very willing to individually help students.
What impact have the faculty, staff and advisors at Daemen had on you?
They have had a great impact on me and I am glad to have a staff which will give individual students exceptional hands-on support.
Do you live on campus? What has been your experience?
I am a commuter.
Have you had any internship, study abroad, service learning or academic experience (ex. Academic Festival, Research Think Tank, etc.) that you can tell us about?
I have worked as an Assistant Freshman Football Coach for St. Joe’s High School from 2008 to 2009 and I am currently a Manager for the Buffalo State Football Team.
What do you like best about Daemen?
I like Daemen’s new business program and their faculty.
What are your plans after graduation?
I hope to be coaching football or working in the business area of the sport.
What clubs or organizations have you been apart of here at Daemen?
I am part of the Daemen Honors Program and the Sports Management Club.
