1. Why did you choose Daemen?

I chose Daemen because I liked the small class size and the relationships you can form with the teachers.  I enjoy having the ability to go to the teachers office hours and have them know my name after a week of classes.  It was helpful that they knew my name already and had started a relationship while lecturing in class.  To have that opportunity made going to office hours less stressful for myself.  I knew that the professor wanted to help me succeed.

2. What excites you about the Admissions Assistant position?

Being an admissions assistant has taught me many valuable lessons on working in a group.  It has taught me how to put on an event at a campus and some of the work that goes into it.  The position also allows me to meet with prospective families and help them find information about Daemen for their children.  I have been able to give tours to different people who have eventually chosen Daemen as his school.  This experience has allowed me to help families with the difficult college choice.

3. What are you most proud of?

I am most proud of how far I have come in school.  I am over halfway done with finishing my doctor of physical therapy degree.  From my classes at Daemen I was able to accomplish my first clinical experience and help patients with many different injuries.  I am proud of how far I have come in the past 5 years and how close I am to finishing my degree from Daemen College

In Daemen, I took ESL classes to improve my English. I worked at Canavan Desk and made a lot of friends over there. I participated in a Business dinner with my professors. I was invited to join a family party by my professors. During the weekends, I often take the school shuttle to the shopping mall. These experiences helped me to ease into the American-style of study, life, and business.
