1. What made you choose Daemen?

I decided to attend Daemen College because I really appreciated how at home I felt when I visited the campus. The students and faculty were so friendly and I instantly was welcomed! I also loved how even though the campus is small, you can always get off campus and find a lot of things to do in the surrounding areas!

2. What excites you about the Tour Guide position?

I am excited about this tour guide position because I will be like part of the welcoming party for prospective Daemen students. I’ll get to show off all of my favorite parts of campus, like the RIC and the student art gallery, and I’ll be able to help them see that Daemen could be an amazing place for them to spend their college career!

3. Where do you see yourself after Daemen?

After Daemen I plan on staying in Buffalo to earn my Master’s Degree in psychology at UB, Buff State, or Canisius College. Right now I am interested in becoming a marriage counselor, but who knows, my plans could definitely change between now and the time I graduate!

4. What is your dream job?

My dream job is to have my own cooking show on the Food Network Channel. I love to cook and bake and just experiment with recipes in my spare time even though they don’t always turn out right.

In Daemen, I took ESL classes to improve my English. I worked at Canavan Desk and made a lot of friends over there. I participated in a Business dinner with my professors. I was invited to join a family party by my professors. During the weekends, I often take the school shuttle to the shopping mall. These experiences helped me to ease into the American-style of study, life, and business.
