1. Why did you choose Daemen?

I chose Daemen because of the residential area and the small campus. I came from a small town so I wanted a college in a similar setting. When I visited the campus, I felt right at home. I also chose to come to Daemen for the Physician Assistant program. However, I chose Daemen over other PA programs due to the small size and the promise that I would get to develop close relationships with my professors.

2. What is your favorite spot on campus?

My favorite place on campus is the library, a.k.a. the RIC. There is always a place where you can go to focus on your school work. The variety of different areas in the library also helps you do your homework with a comfortable amount of space. Group work? No problem, there are always rooms for your group to use in order to effectively get your work done.

3. Where would you like to travel?

I would like to travel to numerous countries in Africa, Europe, South America, Asia and Australia. My life goal is to have traveled to 6 of the 7 continents.

"I think one of the most crucial aspects of the Daemen curriculum is the required internship. I was an accounting intern for both a private health care company and a certified public accounting firm. I was able to apply lessons learned in the classroom to real business situations. When my internships were over, each company offered me a full-time position."
