Why did you choose Daemen College?

I chose Daemen because of the great learning and living area.  When I was away from home, it made me feel like I was home. Daemen takes your individual needs and attends to them the best it can.

Why did you choose your present major?

I chose accounting as my major because I'm skilled at applied math and I enjoy working out problems.

Please describe your academic experience at Daemen College.

It's a lot of hours studying and late nights in the library, but knowing I will obtain a degree makes it worth it.

Please describe any internship, study abroad, service learning or academic experience?

As part of my service-learning requirement, I participated in a program called Soccer for Success. We mentor youth in low-income areas using the sport and nutrition as guidelines. It is a lot of fun and I am now an employee there and enjoy every day of it.

What clubs or organizations have you been a part of at Daemen? What kinds of things do they do?

I am currently a part of the NCAA Men’s DII Golf Team. We travel the country playing against other colleges. I am the president of the Men’s Club Volleyball team as well. We practice once a week and play in leagues and tournaments on the weekends.

What is your favorite campus hangout? Why?

My favorite campus hangout is the beach volleyball sand court in between Rosary Hall and Wick. Pick-up volleyball is a great way to meet new friends.
