Transfer Scholarships
Trustee Transfer Scholars
Daemen College Trustee Transfer scholars are nominated on the basis of academic and non-academic achievement. Considerations of both intellect and character are given in our attempt to award individuals who will "make a difference" not just in their careers and community, but in the Daemen community as well.
Overall, we are seeking candidates who combine the following qualities:
- Academic achievement
- Vision-for self and society
- Enthusiasm, inspiration - the ability to bring visions and dreams to life
- Academic and personal discipline which motivaties him/her to persist
- Leadership ability
There are six renewable scholarships each year:
$12,000-$11,000 - two recipients
$10,000-$9,000 - four recipients
Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship
There are 10 $1,000 renewable scholarships each year awarded to transfer Phi Theta Kappa students.
Merit Based Scholarship
Scholarships awarded to transfer students based on academic achievement. These scholarships are renewed annually based on academic performance.
$8,000 & $7,000 Presidential Scholarship
$5,500 Dean's Scholarship
$4,000 Alumni Grant
