Aishah Rudolph

Master of Social Work (MSW)

I felt that I had gained great skills and knowledge in my undergraduate program at Daemen, I feel that I will gain more of that in Daemen’s MSW program.

What was your reason for coming back to Daemen College?

My reason for coming back to Daemen was to enhance my career in Social Work. Daemen College has such a wonderful Social Work Program for their undergraduate students; I knew I had to come back! I love Daemen and I loved my educational experience at Daemen, as well as my social experience. As they say, “There is no place like home.” I am just glad to be back and studying a passion of mine which is Social Work.

What made you chose the MSW program here at Daemen?

I felt that I had gained great skills and knowledge in my undergraduate program at Daemen, I feel that I will gain more of that in Daemen’s MSW program. I just felt it was the right move for me and it was. I am back in my element with professors and staff I had grown to love in my undergraduate experience.

If you are currently employed, where are you employed and what experience do you have with Social Work?

I am not currently employed, however, I am doing an internship at the Morlock Foundation. My last job in Syracuse, New York, I was a Youth Advocate. I worked with youth that had emotional and behavioral issues.

Please describe what you hope to accomplish and learn through this program.

I hope to obtain my MSW! I hope to finish successfully and I plan to gain more knowledge and understanding in the field of Social Work!
