Career Development

You graduate, get a great job, and then realize after only a year… "This path isn't for me; I need more room to grow!" The second job hunt after leaving college is often a difficult one. You may want to change career tracks altogether or are not quite sure how to market your skills. The Co-op and Career Development office is here for you. Service Learning

Would you like to be an alumni volunteer? Would a community service project you are involved in benefit from student volunteers? Feel free to call the Service Learning Department at (716) 839-8375 and they will be happy to help you make the appropriate contacts. Students at Daemen are always looking to volunteer and gain valuable experience, help their community, as well as fulfill one of their graduation requirements!

Audit Classes

Get back to academia…we make it easy! The only costs you incur are lab and studio fees, if they are necessary for your class. All other fees are waived- just one more perk of being a RHC/DC grad! Instructions for auditing a course: "

• Decide which course would like to take
• Pick up 3 forms from Registration Office (DS 120) as follows:
• Daemen College Student Data Card
• Application and Registration Form (Non-Degree Status)
• Permit to Audit Form
• Obtain Instructor Signature (Registration will provide office location, phone number, and email address of Faculty as needed)
• Head to Academic Advisement for Approval (DS 126)
• Bring ALL forms to Registration for a printed course schedule

Academic Computing

Facilities

Marian Library

Alumni have borrowing privileges from the Marian Library. Once your status as an alum is confirmed, a Public Access Card is issued so that materials may be loaned for four weeks with one renewal period. The online databases are accessible at the library only. For the library schedule, please refer to their web site at Daemen College Marian Library.

Health & Wellness

The Daemen College athletic facilities are available for alumni as long as it is not otherwise reserved. Among our facilities are a weight room, cardiovascular room, and gymnasium. Contact David Skolen for details at dskolen@daemen.edu.

Daemen is implementing several initiatives to raise health and wellness awareness on campus. Allowing us to do so was a $49,000 grant awarded to the college by WNYWW. The grant focuses on employee wellness but offers a range of programs that are open to the community for a nominal fee. Musicalfare Theatre

The second Wednesday of each new show is Daemen Alumni Night at Musicalfare! Join your former classmates for a wonderful show and participate in the actor/ess "talk backs" after the performance. Call the Musicalfare Box office at (716) 839-8540 for tickets and more information.
